Description
Description
This SRAM GX Eagle 12 speed set gives you the key components to get your mountain bike ready for the season.
A large range for varied use
The SRAM GX Eagle cassette has a range of no less than 500% and features the latest technologies. The XG-1275 cassette has 10 to 50 teeth to allow you to go fast on the flat and climb every mountain. The structure is: 10t, 12t, 14t, 16t, 18t, 21t, 24t, 28t, 32t, 36t, 42t, 50t; these are held together by small pins. This FULL PIN™ technology makes this cassette not only lightweight but also very durable. Due to the open X-DOME™ design, mud and other dirt can dissipate easily, which is beneficial for both shifting and durability.
Good price/quality ratio
The SRAM GX Eagle chain was designed in line with Eagle technology. Unlike the XX1 and X01 chain, the SRAM GX Eagle chain has a solid pin construction. This makes the chain more affordable but also slightly heavier. The chain features the Eagle™ PowerLock® connecting link with Flow Link™ technology. This ensures enhanced chain movement and a longer life. The chain is one of the quietest, strongest and most wear-resistant chains and, therefore, offers excellent value for money. The Eagle™ technology achieves a range of 500%, which is 20% more than other 1x drivetrains.
• To adjust the chain's length, you need a chain breaker. You can find it here.
• To close the missing link, you need missing link pliers. You can find these here.
• You can use a chain checker (or chain wear indicator tool) to see when your chain is worn out, so you can replace it in time. You can find it here.
October to March:
• Wash every 200 km
• Rinse after every ride
• Dry and lube the chain after every ride
• Let the bike dry at room temperature
April to September:
• Wash every 300 km
• Rinse after a ride in the rain
• Dry and lube the chain after rinsing or washing
• Let the bike dry at room temperature

Compatibility
The 12-speed cassette fits the existing XD driver. This means that the distance between the cogs has been reduced and, therefore, the chain is also narrower. X-Glide 2 is the latest generation of SRAM X-Glide technology, optimised for the Eagle 12-speed cassette. It delivers fast and accurate shifting under load across the entire gear range and increases chain grip on the larger sprockets.Assembly

User tips
How often should I wash my bike? Regular washing will keep your bike in good nick. It ensures that the parts on your bike last longer so that you can enjoy cycling happiness for longer. How often you should wash your bike is largely dependent on what sort of weather conditions you ride in. Are you always out there, come rain or shine? Or are you strictly a fair-weather cyclist? It all has an influence on the degree of wear on bike parts, and some of us have to wash our bikes more regularly than others. Refer to the plan below as a general guideline:October to March:
• Wash every 200 km
• Rinse after every ride
• Dry and lube the chain after every ride
• Let the bike dry at room temperature
April to September:
• Wash every 300 km
• Rinse after a ride in the rain
• Dry and lube the chain after rinsing or washing
• Let the bike dry at room temperature
